Regrettably, there was a technical glitch that prevented the link from being enabled.  Naturally, it is tempting to start the application process during regular business hours when staff is available to remedy the problem . However, at that time, many students are traveling to work or school, getting family members off to their day, or simply have no access to  a  computer at the appointed hour due to various commitments. Therefore, we will stay with the early morning hour which allows more students to be available for submitting the application, providing everyone an equal chance to participate.

Therefore, Effective Tuesday, February 7, 2012 at 12:01 AM, the GSA Activity Fund Scholarship will be available on a FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED basis to qualified graduate students.  UPDATE : Application closed , over 1700 students applied.

The Graduate Students Association (GSA) is offering the GSA Activity Fund Scholarship to currently enrolled Hunter College graduate students as a means of reducing the Student Activity Fee surplus by $60,000.

The first 200 qualified applications received will be awarded a scholarship in the amount of $300 each, on a FIRST COME, FIRST SERVE BASIS. GSA has designed this scholarship to alleviate the cost of graduate school education, and as a one-time-only offer.

To qualify, applicants should be graduate students who have accrued at least three (3) credits. The scholarship is offered to all graduate students, including international students (regardless of immigration status), who are currently enrolled in a minimum of 3 credits during the Spring 2012 semester.

GSA Officers or anyone associated with the GSA Fund Scholarship are ineligible to apply.
